Complete Specifications
Our Quartz Distillation Flask is manufactured from high-purity quartz glass, featuring 99.99% Silicon Dioxide (SiO2) at 4N grade.
Its primary advantage is excellent high-temperature resistance, making it ideal for chemical synthesis, decomposition, distillation, and sublimation processes conducted at temperatures exceeding 500°C, often up to and above 1000°C, including applications requiring direct flame heating. This flask offers strong thermal shock resistance, capable of withstanding local overheating or sudden temperature changes and will not crack from rapid heating followed by cold water shock.
Thanks to its high-purity quartz material, it is also suitable for photochemical synthesis or photolysis experiments utilizing a UV light source for reactant irradiation. The high purity is crucial for applications demanding highly accurate results, such as trace element analysis or the preparation of high-purity materials, as the material is chemically inert and prevents sample contamination.
We offer customization options tailored to your experimental requirements, including custom ground standard joints (standard taper joints) and custom spherical bulb sizes. This allows our flasks to be seamlessly integrated with your other laboratory accessories to achieve your specific experimental objectives.
