It is ideal for chemical synthesis, decomposition, distillation, and sublimation requiring temperatures exceeding 500°C, or even up to and above 1000°C, including applications involving direct flame heating.
This flask offers strong thermal shock resistance, capable of withstanding sudden temperature changes, such as rapid heating followed by cold water cooling, without cracking. Its high purity prevents sample contamination, making it suitable for experiments requiring stringent container purity. Furthermore, its excellent UV transparency makes it suitable for photochemical synthesis and photolysis experiments involving UV irradiation of reactants.
